Default 598 TFS A-460 Nitrous Build and Dyno Results

I just thought I would share my results from my 598 A460 nitrous build. At 9am on the day of the dyno, it was in the upper 70's with 93% humidity and by mid morning it was in the mid to upper 80's with around 80+% humidity. We also ran this motor (which I didn't agree with) on VP NO2 as this is the fuel the motor would see when on the bottle. So needless to say the power numbers are down a little bit due to this, and more timing was used than would have been necessary with better air and different fuel.

How much power do you think this setup should make? I will post the dyno sheets once my scanner starts working again.

With the relatively low compression and the smallish carb I would guesstimate ~925-950

Well, it is going to see a pretty healthy dose of nitrous. I am not sure if VP NO2 will be a better fuel than C16, which I have always used, but I figured I would try it. I wanted to dyno it on C12 or something similar, since the NO2 fuel was going to be overkill and not give me a realistic base number.

I honestly wouldn't use Q16 in anything, it's just not worth it in my opinion. Might as well run alcohol if your thinking of running Q16.

Thats what I figured. Thank you for posting the specs. I don't know what the I/E ratio is so I don't know if the duration split is right or not.

So what do you think about the results with the given information, fuel used and the humidity/temp?

Duration is is pretty damn close. You may want to loosen intake .002 and try it one day. The exhaust could use more lift. Piston speed in this thing is quick. Exhaust could use a little help.

The lobe sep....I would tighten it.
