Thanks to everyone for the info, I will start tuning tomarrow, if the weather is decent,

JSracing, yes it is an alky burner, I don't think I specified that earlier,

Frank, I got that same info from David Willingham, but that link is now in my favorites folder, (easier get to than trough the email)

Dave, I think I'll take your advise with the small changes and test,

I posted this vid in another post, if anyone is interested in how the truck sounds it can be heard here, I do not pull it up to 6500 but you can see how smoothly it makes power, this is how it runs right up till it flattens out,

Any other thoughts or info is very much appreciated,

Well I got some tuning done on thursday, I said earlier that my timing was set at 30*, after checking this it was actually at 15*, I double checked to make sure it was not advancing to 30* but the msd 10 does not have any advance, I bumped the timing up 5* at a time and checked it, I worked my up to 32-33*, the engine idle had worked it's way up to about 2000-2100 rpm, so I closed the birdies down so it would idle about 1400-1500, & adjusted the barrel valve to where the header temps were around 530 degrees, after warming the engine up it will now free rev to 7800 in a blink & will obviously go higher, I have not had the chance to drive the truck other than in the yard, I'll have to wait till next days off to make sure it will go past the 6200 ish it was stuck at before, but after the small blast in the yard I doubt it will have any problems, right now by seat of the pants it feels half again the power at half the throttle,
I think I see more broken parts in the future,
