460 hatchet wieght

First off thank you all for having me and thank you for any info yall may have. I have a 460 in my 94 f-350 I bought another block and when I took it apart to go to machine shop I realized it's a bit older and has what I've found to be called a "hatchet wieght", if I put a newer crank in that block can I do away with that hatchet wieght? Thanks again for any info
