1988 E250 Club Wagon 460 - Can anyone identify this engine part?

It's at the back end of the engine and screws directly into the top of the block, just aft of the intake manifold and before the bell housing. It's shaped like a bell, and has a wire coming out of the top of it. It's leaking engine oil. I'm thinking sensor, but since I can't identify it I can't order a new one.

It looks like the sender for the oil pressure gauge.
