HI OK.. I got one of those dampeners with the marks at TDC, 90*. 180* & 270*. I know which cylinders are up at those timings but how do I utilize this in adjusting the rockers? I can use the EOIC method buy I thought this TDC, 90 ,180,270 was supposes to be easier?
any help Thanks

Use the Exhaust opening / intake closing method.

You can mark the damper with cylinders #1 /6 @ TDC, #5 /3 @ 90*, #4 /7 @ 180* and #2 /8 @ 270*
(assuming stock firing order) then check
#s 1,5,4 & 2 the first time around and the rest the 2nd time. It may be easier for you to keep track of where you are and you will be stopping in exactly the same place every time, as opposed to the other method.
