588 RESULT'S

Hey guy's i thought i would share this with ya. Ill try to keep it short not going to much into engine detail's, i will save that for the engine build section on a later date.

RPM TQ HP
5700 777 843
5800 789 873
5900 796 894
6000 793 906
6100 791 919
6200 785 927
6300 777 932
6400 768 936
6500 754 933
6600 745 936
6700 736 939
6800 726 940
6900 715 939
7000 705 940

As you can see im real happy about the dyno result's with this engine. Made good power through out the pull. And i do believe there is some more power to be had with this combo. Lem and i decided to leave the cam 3/4 of a degree retarded and the timeing is at 29 degree's total. The reason being we didn't want to blow the tire's off the old mustang, so we concentrated on that tune If we had more time it would of been interesting to see what the out put would of been with the cam advance and the timing bumped up a couple of degree's. If the car hook's good with what we have now ill try advanceing the cam at the track, you gotta love those danny bee's and maybe bump up the timeing a couple of degree's and see what we get out of her. But i think that is a helluva base line to work off of. Special thank's to Lem, Charlie, Phillip Oakley, Jet Boat Bob and the dyno operator Mike for ralling around my engine, it is appreiciated. PS the dyno session was great but to wacth Lem and Charlie go at it is priceless

Good show Bobby, I know how you feel. I had a great time with those Kentucky Headhunters when we dynoed my engine.

What's this about Lem wetting his pants?

Doug,

All 5 of us had been talking about going out to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner, it was getting to be a long day and everybody was tired and hungry. Well, after Lem had his "accident", he was too embarassed to go into the restuarant for a sitdown meal, so he, Bobby and Joe went through Wendy's drive-in. Now then, Joe had quite a "beer buzz" going and the wildest part of the whole deal was that Joe jumped out of the truck at Wendy's and took a piss at the drive-in menu/order thing!!!!!!!!! That 'bout got them arrested because it was on the busiest street in town.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, 'ol Charlie had taken Martin (our other quest) and gone to Old South Bar-B-Que for a nice, calm, uneventful dinner. Just a thoughtful discussion of the dyno session.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Thank's guy's for the compliment's. Now back to the wendy's thing, joe is VERY lucky that i was in a good mood because everything went so good at the dyno session. What hurt's the most that i was stone cold sober at the time, and i let those two talk me into going threw the drive threw with a 4 door F350 dually that took me three time's to make the turn with car's behind me ops:. Lem if the pump is humming chances are it's running do not pull the hose off  .

When you buy a new pump from Lem Evans...it don't hum...in case you didn't notice . Even if it did one couldn't hear it for Charlie running his big mouth .
