who has the best quality bolt on boss 429 scoop out there,thanks for the info ya'll.

greg, let me ask ya? will a big block with edel/rpm or wieand/stealth fit under the factory hood with a factory single snorkle air cleaner,i have th plain flat hood. i realy dont want to chop up the factory hood,but if i got to then ill go with the boss scoop.

I couldn't make the stealth and 1" spacer fit under a regular hood. That's how my car "grew" a scoop.

Get a GT Hood

If you can find a GT hood it will fit. I have a 70 Torino with a GT hood with a Weiland and with a Edelbrock air cleaner cut down it will fit you just have to massage the lower base of the air cleaner (cut it down) and find the right size air filter. It wont fit with a 1" spacer

I bought a nice Boss 429 scoop from IMPORT ZX, In Florida,29 inches long by 27 inches wide by 5 inches high.Looks real good.Jerry

i got my boss 9 scoop from m/p motorsports @ 1-888-708-GLAS , mpmotorsports.net .hood and glass bumpers too.,
