Where is the fuel pump relay on a 1993 Mustang 2.3 AT ??? It's my daughter's car, and I'm used to big blocks and double pumpers. Thanks guys !!

Thanks...

Thanks Will. I'll check that tomorrow. I don't know why these kids think they need 30 mpg.

I'm pretty sure 5.0's are different than 2.3's. I have a 91 Mustang 2.3 and my fuel pump relay sits on the passenger strut tower. It's that black piece that has ~40 wires going to it.

Also, make sure your 'accident safety thingy' hasn't been tripped in the trunk.

When mine went out, I hot wired the fuel pump by running a 12 volts wire to the fuel pump side of the accident safety switch. If the fuel pump is good, it should start running this way.

Have a good day!

Thanks guys,

Thanks guys, the car actually runs great. Till it cuts off going down the road whenever it feels like it. We ran the codes and got a 222 (DIS problem, loss of right side ignition diagnostic monitor signal,) and a 556 (fuel pump relay primary circuit failure). This is the distributorless deal with 2 coil packs and 8 spark plugs. Thanks again for the help.
