Attention Joe Mayabb; You bringing that Mustang

to Windy Hollow for the BB Ford Nationals? It's time to step up! How fast(e.t.) does it go on motor, and how fast does it go on nitrous?

I would like to make it but I am not for sure as of yet. I think it would be a lot of fun and give me some extra testing sessions.

It ran 5.50's in the old car at 3100 lbs but we never could get the suspension lined out. With the help of Greg Creech, I think we were on the right track of getting it figured out and that is when I wrecked. It will have to run mid 5.30's to be competitive. We are starting on the headers today so we should get to hear it run in a couple of weeks.

Joe,

Maybe you don't want to bring it to Windy Hollow afterall. I've got one of my "homeboys" who says he can spank your car with his Mustang and he doesn't run nitrous. Just a "Small" C-460 headed engine and a single carb dommy deal. Are you up for the challenge?

:P :P

He better have more than a "small" engine if he wants me to come and play. I don't run nitrous either.

Joe,

Good! I'm glad you don't run nitrous because that makes things more equal. However, his engine is "smaller" than yours by a good bit and he's running the single C-460 intake, so maybe you'll stand a chance.

Heh-he-he,

I'm ragging Joe's butt. It's payback for his "other remarks". However, I'm very willing to bet money or even moonshine (in Joe's case) on my guy. 8) Joe's talking like his car may not be ready, but I wish it were, we'd have have the Battle of Fast Mustangs at the Hollow! I think Joe's has a 632 CID engine, so we'd be giving away a lot with this "Small" engine.

Travis,

I'm glad you got home safely with you new C-460 headed engine! How are things in Maryland?

Anyway, yes you probally do smell a little B.S. In fact when you were down here Friday night you saw B.S.!  and you also saw the dyno sheets from that "Small" engine!

Have a good one!

632??? My engine is just a .030 over 460 out of an old cattle truck off the farm. Actually Charlie, it's a few more than you said.
