Header Fabrication Progress

Here are some weekend pictures of the header progress. They should be finished up today. 11.2 deck block in a Fox body is a tight fit.

Joe,

Very nice! Did you say it was fun to fab your own headers??

Let's see, 11.2" deck height, alum. block, 665 CID or bigger,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'd say we're in trouble in regards to that fastest Mustang match race, aren't we?

Later,

Charlie Evans

I don't know Charlie, it's all about getting it down the track. Did I say 11.2, I meant 9.5

The collectors are temporaily tacked to the k-member just for support. The a-arms are from AJE. Thanks for the compliments guys.

I must have missed this post the first time around. Great job Joe 8) Going through the "A" arms is a great idea, I'll have to remember that the next time around. Wasn't that fun Joe? Actually I like doing the mockup part, kind of like doing a big puzzle. What I hate is the sitting at the table and welding part.

Going through the a-arms was the only choice we had with the huge oil pan. The tube lengths ended up being 28" to 33". We tried to make them 28" to 32" so we got pretty close.

Looks great Joe. Snaking the tubes through the K-member is a good way to go! One of my tubes is like that also.
