The book I rely on the most is "Super tuning and Modifying Holley Carburetors" ISBN #0-931472-08-3 Published by S-A Design. It has the most general info of all the books available, things like acc. pump cam specs, general List number listings, metering plate specs, jet number vs. hole size chart and text that is easy to understand. There are other books available but I think this book should be your 1st purchase.

That book by Dave Emanuel is ok but I hate his writing and it doesn't have a whole lot of really in depth information. Only ok, the book that Holley sells or used to sell is quite good we have that one around here somewhere.

Dave, What book is that? I thought I had every Holley book published. Maybe I missed one. I still stand by my choice as the Dave Emanual book is the one I reference the most.

We have a really old Holley book somewhere around here that I believe was published by Holley. I need to go home and find that book but it's quite good. A lot of the charts and stuff in Emanuel's book came from the Holley book I'm talking about. I can't think of the title but in some of the pictures the Holley engineers are wearing polyester pants so it's pretty old!
