I'm running a 315/50-15 drag radial which is 28" tall and about 11-12" wide on a 15x10 weld w/ 6.5 bs

If you don't want to do any mods I think the biggest tire would be a 28*9 slick (11.5 ET Street) on a 15*10 wheel with 6.5 backspacing and a small spacer or on a 8" wheel with 5.5 back spacing. Otherwise a 28*10.5 slick or 28*12.5 ET Street will fit with rolling the fenderwell lip a little and a little hammering on the inner fenderwells with a big hammer.

You might be able to fit a Hoosier 29*11.5 Quick Time Pro on a 15*8 wheel with 5.5 back spacing.

I like the idea of rolling the lip so I think it will be the 28 * 10.5 .I"m going to order the tires .. All I have left is to run the fuel lines , install headers, and then try this beast out on the track. It will be a little scary the first run !!! thanks for the info .
