Chassis Kits

Per a conversation I had with 8liter traveling to the Big block bash......anyone know of a chassis builder that makes a kit for a ZX2 Escort. Scott Geoffrion ran one a few years ago but that chassis was all a Jerry Haas custom job if I remember correctly.

Small car, street legal tube chassis, BBF powered...

1990 GT, 347 / 76mm turbo setup OUT AND GONE!

New setup going in. Dove headed 545 with a plate kit to 400, progressive, Th400 etc. etc. etc.

I think a 03 ZX3 is the same car minus a few cosmetic changes..That would be cool..

Casey, I had forgotten about the Kugel kit. Do you remember if that car we seen in BG last year was a Kugel kitted car? I know it was real nice but I didnt get a chance to ask that guy about it.

Maybe call Suncoast Race Cars out of Florida too....

Also, just a thought. Did you try Jerry Bickel? Bobby Small's dad told me that their car was built by a local guy from a Bickel kit. That car was beautiful to say the least...

Some times you can't say for sure ONE Pro Stock chassis builder built the cars used for any of the Pro Stock champions. This is because in the past some teams have used/tested/won with cars built by more than just one builder during the course of the season. One year Warren Johnson used cars built buy at least three different chassis builders (Ness, Jones, Haas) during the season at different tracks.

As far as kits go, I vote for Tim McAmis or Vanishing Point.

Ive checked out ALL the sites that you guys are suggesting for these builders. At this point its all a "pipe" (pun intended) dream. I dont know where my life will take me after college graduation in December. I may build this car. I may sell, I may end up in a dodge, NEVER A CHEVY...but atleast I have some options..

Thanks fellas.

If you took a look at Chris's(TopSportsman916) car at the Bash, you'd never go anywhere but Vanishing Point!
