What is all this trash doing on our forum?

Kinda scary, I would certainly discourage you guys from clicking any of that stuff. I know its tempting, but no telling what kind of spyware and viruses are attached to it!?

Hopefully the admin will be able to take care of this stuff quickly.

One of the local gearhead forums was recently attacked by a virus, I hope 460ford is not fixing to be one.

I did click on one and it was stopped by my antivirus program because it was trying to send a trojan (don't remeber which specifically). So yes they definitely do have an attached virus and definietly do not click on them.

The post(s) that everyone sees from this porn merchant are due to a "BOT" not a live person (usually) that automatically registers and posts these porn etc advertisements. Only the forums administrator (Chilly) has the access to the banning controls. A moderator (Jones) has little if no chance to ban or stop these "bots" from posting their filth on this or any forum. Jones, like any forums moderators powers are rather limited as the administrator retains most of the real forum controls.

Chilly can eliminate a huge percentage of these problem posters by closing the "guest posting" feature as well as other forum changes..

You are 100% correct. I try to delete the threads as soon as I see them, but Chilly is the only one that can delete accounts.
