First 60ft. Photo of New Car

Donnie Hagan did a great job with the photography work. I just spent some money with him after I saw this picture. This was the first ever 60ft. pass on the car and it ran a 1.24.

Donnie did take some awesome pics of the cars. 8) I bought two 11 x 14's myself. One for my Dad's garage, and the other will stay at my place.

Car & pass looks terrific Joe. Glad you are starting to see positive results from all your hard work & money spent. A 1.24 60ft is very impressive the very first time out with no runs on the car!!! I only expect things to get quicker as you get the chassis & everything sorted out. Take care & we will see you & your dad at Hardinsburg on May 12.

PS: Damon your car looks very nice also. With the way it was launching, it reminds me of some of the cars that race with Joe & my driver, Leon Mathis. Of course that is not always a good thing. It tends to be hard on oil pans & headers! Take care & good luck to you!

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for the compliment. Fortunately for me I still have the stock K-member and it kind of saved my oil pan. Headers are tucked up next to the floor board (That's why I need the turnd downs) so I only encountered minor damage to 4 of the header tubes.

The Caster Camber Plates took the most damage.

Hope to see you at some of the outlaw races this year. I had planned on racing in the 6.50 class but I'm not sure that I can take that much power out of this engine

Good Luck May 12th!

Kevin,

Glad to see you on the board! How's about hanging around here more often. We need a man with your knowledge. I sure wish you all had brought your car down. We needed you, and besides that we paid big money.

Later,

I believe the cowl cover is made by Harwood. I am sure Joe will chime in & confirm this. Looks similiar to the one on my car & it is a Harwood.

Charlie, I really wanted to come down to the BBF, but we were in the midst of making some changes to my car, & we just could not find the time. I will do my best to make it next year!!! It looked like it was a blast!!!

We made some upgrades over the winter to my engine and at our first race we went a 5.29 @ 136.75MPH. We had to weigh 3400 lbs, so I was pretty happy. This is the fastest ET & MPH we have ever run. I believe when Joe gets everything lined out he will be right there with us. Shoot, he might by pass us & then force me to do some more upgrading just to try to keep up!!! You never know about Outlaw heads-up drag racing.

Charlie I do frequent this board on a regular basis & I enjoy it very much!!!! There is a wealth of knowledge on this board & I appreciate you guys sharing it with people who need it. Everyone from what I have watched on this board are extremely helpful & very nice!!!! Joe will tell you I'm just kind of laid back. My driver has most of the knowledge. I just know enough to be dangerous!!!!

Take care Charlie & if you get up around my way some time, stop in & we will shoot the bull.

Kevin,

I'll be sure and come over and chat with ya You MUST attend the next BBF Bash. It was by far the BEST time I've ever had at a drag strip including the few times when I actually won big money racing

Thanks!
