1947-1997 50 Years of Ford Trucks

I went over my brother's house today, and loaded up his 47 Ford Truck to bring down to my Dad's. This is the next project, and it's getting the 472/C6 I took out of my Fairlane. He has alot of new parts to put on, and the MIG welder will get a workout. Here's some pics of my 97, with the 47 on the trailer. What a difference 50 years can make.

His truck doesn't have brakes right now, so it was a little tricky winching it up his driveway. I had to jack the trailer up until my wheels were off the ground, so the trailer could be somewhat level. We chocked the front wheels on my truck and the trailer, and pulled it up with the winch. We used an old exhaust manifold to block the front wheels, if it got rolling a little too quick. I made it over my Dad's without incident. 8)
