The FE 1966 Tbird at BBF bash fixed and fast...

Lots of folks stopped by to see my brother's '66 Tbird at the Big Block Bash - of course it was broken most of the time! Well we got it running again and had it at the WFC. He tuned on the car some and ran a killer new best time: [email protected] Wow. I thought he had the wrong time slip! The car has no bar in it, so its time to slow it down some

That is a sweet ride! How about some engine particulars? That is a heavy car, and must have one bad bullet in it to run those numbers  !

Just put a bar in it !!!! Put that mother hunker of a barge in the 10's !!!! I believe it was a 428 FE with a set of edlebrocks and a hit of the go fast gas. And the interior was Plush to boot, 60's pimpin' leather !!!

James,

I REALLY like your brothers T-bird! I used to run FE's so keep that in mind, but sounds like your brother already has it tuned pretty good! Someone said he spun the balancer off? So what happened?

at the BBF bash he spun the balancer off in the burnout box and after fixing that (sombody got him one next day air at the hotel, who was that?) he had some carb troubles, and after fixing that the clutch fan came apart and took out the radiator. Several off color words were uttered. The car went into the trailer...

Dave got the engine combo right, 428 with some worked over edelbrock heads and some nitrous. How was the drive to Washington Dave?

Tim and I have a running bet about who has the stongest engine, maybe his latest move put him up on me!?!?!

That bird is a HEAVY car so he's got to be making some power to run the numbers that he is running

That is a very nice 'Bird. and being fast with FE power makes it that much sweeter.

I'm still kicking myself for selling my 67 when trying to buy my first house.
