Ford Country

I got to drive up to Farmington, NM / Durango CO. for some work last week and there is so many old Fords here it will make you cry. Most people wouldn't even think of a 20 hour drive but I enjoy it. Cutting across Tx (from Louisiana) is always cool, going through little towns with old cars down alleys etc. I seen a 64 Galaxie, a 39 Coe, a later 70's COE, I don't know how many 30's and 40's Fords. When you get up around Farmington and Colorado it is like everyone has their own personal junk yard. I am jeleous. The king bee is Ford trucks though. Their is so many 70's trucks everywhere you look it is awsome. Everytime I see one I think of those poor guys here looking for cabs.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid-in-sideways, totally worn out, shouting.."holy crap.... what a ride!"
