ring gear?

my ring gear is dished on one side when i put it on which way does it go

I think from your post you may want to have someone setup your rear for you. This is kind of a important assembly you may want to watch someone do it first.

ya i ment the flywheel it is dished out to one side wondering it is not perfectly straight there is a circular grove on it don't know forsure which side goes to motor

I assume you actually mean flexplate? Flywheel is term for a manual tranny, and if you can't tell which side goes where I'd suggest stepping away from the vehicle for a bit :lol:

Anyway, dish should be towards the transmission on ones I've used.
