CMRA mud racing tonight Madisonville KY

There is a CMRA mud race in Madisonville tonight at the fairgrounds. More information on their website www.cmramudracing.com. We will be there with the 679 inch BBF deck plate engine we built in a maroon S-10 called "Unleashed". If you go, you will know the truck, it is the only Chevy with a blue oval in the grill.

Yeah, I think Hugh got into it with someone at the driver's meeting, but I was back at the trailer so I didn't get to see it  . I felt like the track was dry and loose so we could not really hook up, but some guys did not have any trouble at all. I will admit that we have to do a little to the suspension though. We will hopefully have it lined out for Anna, Illinois in two weeks though.

I have noticed, arguing with him is like arguing with a wall.

What about Tommy W.? I heard he flipped his rig at a previous race.

Yeah, he totaled it out. He has a new truck now that I think he is trying to work the bugs out of. I believe it has the motor out of his white/orange truck in it. If you are at the Anna race in a couple of weekends, come find me so we can meet, my name is Mike Lough. I will be with Don Cato, we built his engine so we like to go to the close races. It is the maroon S-10 with the BBF in it. That in itself raises a lot of eyebrows  .

I run Super Stock, and I talked to Rodger Rutliff Wednesday, he informed me that not many trucks are showing up for that class. He said Hugh won't put up any money for the Super Stock class.
My steering is out right now, or I would have made Saturdays race, they always have a good showing there in my class. Last year I finished 2nd with just one run.

Never even thought Dons ride was ford powered. Guess I'll have to take a closer peek at the next race, which is actually @ pulaski, IL on the 18th. Anna is the following weekend.
You guys got to see the maiden and somewhat lame first race for our new ride. The little green bronco. Maybe I can get a few things straightened out before the 18th.
Dave, I kept looking for you at the races. There were enough trucks there in superstock that you might have gotten your entrance fee back!

Mike, to be absolutely HONEST with you, even though my build is small, (my build is in my post) my truck would been tough for any of them stroked, after market headed Chevy's to beat. My truck is an over achiever. The guy that won the class in the S-10, will find this out on Sept. 01 or Sept. 15, whichever race he shows up at. (My home track, side by side, double elimination)
Don't take me wrong, I have all respect for his money that bought his set up, but he will be surprised, win or lose, I promise.
I love running the bigger builds.

I hope to meet you some time, if things work out, I might try to come to the Anna race.

Take care.

You are correct simpleman, I got my dates mixed up on Pulaski and Anna. That green Bronco is pretty neat. Deerhunter, I did not stay for the super stock trucks, I had a long day and a long drive to get home. We will see you at your home track, if I can make it.

Ashley,
I meant to shoot you an email that I would't be there due to steering problems. Sorry, my bad. I did get to talk to Rodger on the phone, and rag him about the chevy bias block rule.
I hated missing the Madisonville race, I heard there were a bunch in my class. That track is also always on the drier side. (less clean up)
