Broken trans case question....
I managed to get a few more of the kinks worked out of the old truck for Fridays real street drags and I think I also created a few more problems...I was doing my burn out and well I sort of went by the tree, backed up and they told me to kill it and I was leaking something. Here it looks like I broke the case on the trans near the band adjustment screw on the c-6. Is it common to break a c-6 there or is it time for a motor plate and solid mounts? Or is something else going on? The thing that stunk the most is the miss is gone due to ignition upgrades, the air was better than the last time and after the burn out I had my sights set on a 12.700, oh well, if it breaks it needed to be fixed anyway. Any input guys?
