Welfare Poem

A friend sent me this. The poem may (or not) be funny but the stats at the end are sick.

Welfare Poem

I cross ocean,
poor and broke,
Take bus,
see employment folk.

Nice man treat me
good in there,
Say I need to
see welfare.

Welfare say,
"You come no more,
We send cash
right to your door."

Welfare checks,
they make you wealthy,
Medicaid it keep
you healthy!

By and by,
I got plenty money,
Thanks to you,
American dummy.

Write to friends
in motherland,
Tell them 'come
fast as you can.'

They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,
I buy big house
with welfare bucks

They come here,
we live together,
More welfare checks,
it gets better!

Fourteen families,
they moving in,
But neighbor's patience
wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
moves away,
Now I buy his house,
and then I say,

"Find more aliens
for house to rent."
And in the yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
they just trash,
But they, too,
draw the welfare cash!

Everything is
very good,
And soon we
own the neighbourhood.

We have hobby
it's called breeding,
Welfare pay
for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!

American crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.

We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for the white man race.
If they no like us, they can scram,
Got lots of room in Pakistan.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single
refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also get an
additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after
contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years can
only receive a monthly maximum of $1, 012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed
Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees! Lets send this to
all Americans, so we can all be ticked off and maybe we can get the refugees cut
back to $1, 012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470 00 and enjoy some of the
money we were forced to submit to
the Government over the last 40 or 50 years.

And they all moved to good old ( WE CARE MORE) Minnesota. Home of more Tibetans than there are in Tibet, more Vietnamese than any other place in the U.S. and last but not least the largest muslim population of Somalis other than Somalia and they hate it here. The Vietnames at least work and are pleasnt the rest can go BACK. Sorry about the rant.

Holy Crap!!!!!!  That's more money than I made working 60-70 hrs/week before my wifes accident in 2003...

Ya know what really sucks? I still can't work, I gotta stay home and care for my wife. Because we don't qualify for fulltime home health care so I can go back to work. And get this, the state told me that I don't qualify for any type of assistance/compensation because I am MARRIED to the person needing the care. They said " If you were to get a divorce, then you could qualify for assistance."

I took some of you guys' advise when I asked for it a number of months back, and am doing some stuff under the table, but other than that we get $1300.00/ month for a family of 4.

I guess from the sounds of the poem, I'm just not wearing the proper attire, or hding behind the proper ethnic background......

Doug I can tell this is not your style but. . Get the divorce, get the help you need get back on your feet and get remarried and have a hell of a party! Your still married in all aspects except to play there stupid games. Have you called your Fed., State, City, County representatives give them the full story and maybe they will pull a string or two or tell you where to go to get some aid. The folk's at the state level are just going by the book. Hell it doesnt cost anything to call. The dirt balls do it all the time, why shouldn't good hard working honest poeple do it. Hang in thier Bro.

They are getting more money per month than I make in a month and I work 40 hours a week, some how that doesn't seem right.
