My 1st race, ever.- gobs of pix added.

Best time and first day ever at the track 13.831

My other bud pulled a 13.799 with my car.

It was fun cause I waxed his SCJ cobra 4 speed twice.

Over all I was slow lots of 15s. The car was breaking up badly at the top end. We think there are fuel issues

Nothing cooler than seeing a big block Torino (oops, Fairlane) in its native element.

What kind of tires are you running? What do you have in the 9"? What was your 60'?

Video was cool.

Hey nice work. Nothing wrong with 13's .. That is pretty good.
Seems reality has been lost somewhere between a nice tough streeter that DOES get driven and the supposed 7+8 sec street cars which rarely see the street...

Wow, 13.8 in that heavy of a car w/ an open rear end and street tires is great. I would be plenty happy.

If at 70 mph you are cruising at 3000 rpm (about) you most likely have 3.5 gears.
If its closer to 2500 at 70 mph then you have some 3.0 gears.

Phil,

WARNING :!: It's like a drug........ Once you get a taste of it...... You want More........... And MORE............ Before long your street car becomes a street/strip car and you want MORE........... Then your street/strip car becomes a strip ONLY car and you want MORE..........

You get the idea......... Sure is fun, isn't it? Nice pictures 8)

That's FordGuy545's dad's car. He pops up here occasionally.
Truck is a 545, propane supercharged truck. Runs solid 10s like crazy.
Its stupid fast. I think Scotty J did the heads.
