motor plate install

is there something I can read somewhere I how to do this? I am pretty green when it comes to this stuff. I want to use the skinny kid plates.

Test fit ....... Trim ......... Test fit....... Measure ...... Trim ...... You get the idea.

To fit the mid plate I used cardboard, trimmed it to fit the car and headers then used that template to trimp me mid plate.

I don't know what kind of car you have but I ordered some plates for a Mustang from Skinny Kid and they fit right in. They have very complete instructions and pictures too.
