The Nuclear Stations I used to work in once in a while each had 2 huge diesel back up generators. The crankcase had doors at each journal large enough to walk into standing up. You could walk around inside it like a small room. I don't remember the power capacties of the engines as I worked on the generator end but the pistons seemed to be about 36". HUGE!
