Boy in critical condition.

My wife is a member on another board where this was posted asking for prayer. His name is Sean.He was hit by a drunk illegal.Apparently the truck he was in was knocked 17ft up the side of a mountain.
On life support:

The truck:

Can you find the shoe?

I talked with his Mom today and she said it looks like 90 days community service.

God bless

Borders!

We will not begin to solve this problem until we control our borders. Unfortunately, neither of the two main political parties want the borders controlled.

By the way not to forget about the human aspect of this. I will pray for a swift and complete recovery for the boy.

DUI

About 20 years ago i was hit head on by a drunk driver who was in FL picking oranges.
The driver and his buddy just left a bar and traveled about a 1/2 mile max when the road had a slight curve to the right - the driver did not steer to the right and i'm coming along in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately for the drunk driver I was driving a one ton dually flat bed and he was in a station wagon.
I saw his headlights crossing center and luckily reacted enough to move the truck over enough so when we hit his car ripped the front fender. tire, wheel.spindle asembly off then he slid down the side of my door and when his car got to the flat bed part it ripped all the side posts off his wagon and unfortunatly caught his shoulder ripping it off leaving his upper chest cavity wide open to his heart pumping. (Grusom scene)
Now my first reaction was to jump out of my truck very pissed off considering i had just spent months on it rebuilding everything in drivetrain, interior and exterior including paint.
My later reaction was sadness as this guy did die before getting to the hospital -he had no insurance - he had a family with 6 kids.
I probably could have sued somehow but just took my loss and went on & thanked god for sparing my life because the next day i looked at my truck at the yard & if the impact would have been 4 inches more toward center the frame rail would have been grabbed and i think i would have been catipulted through the windshield & splatted on the highway.

My post is to agree 100% that more needs to be done with the illegals in our country and this is not a new thing - been going on for years and it is continued to be allowed!

it's anarchy- we are not enforcing our own laws. Are you aware that many of the Texas broder towns are totally controlled by Mexico and Mexican nationals- drug runners, etc. It truely is not part of the US anymore- it belongs to Mexico. It makes me sick and I am pissed. I email my congress and do what I can, but who am I? Yesterday I sat it line at the grocery store for 15 minutes while a lady with 4 kids who could not speak english bought tons of junk food and charged it to her "Lonestar Card" (food stamps). This was at 2:00 pm. I took a late lunch, but half the store was people like her. Did they all take a late lunch or do they just not work. I know the answer. I am in no way a racists or a xenophobe, but this is BS! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!!

I think if I were Native American Indian or Mexican that I'd stay well away from alcohol.

If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers.

Thanks for the links.

Remember the Alamo  IMO, not only do we need to fix our borders , we need to loosen our ties with "mooch states" like Mexico
period. I know that will never happen but that's the way it should be.

Illegal immigrants need to be deported, no more work visas and no more economic aid packages. Let them figure out how to be successful countries with clean water, food and medicine. We don't need people to pick crops and do menial labour. Hell, we have prisions full of people doing life sentecnces that should be doing that crap!

People need to stay in their own countries and fix their own problems instead of sucking us dry. Times have changed, were no longer a growing nation looking outward for people to help populate the country and bring valuable knowledge and services. Those days ended by the 1920's

I voted for president Bush both times but when it come to illegal immigration he's been a pathetic piece of crap. I'll also add that with the exception of Sen. Tancredo the entire line-up on both sides is as bad.

Duncan Hunter is pretty good.

what about the free loaders on welfare?

1/3 of our prison population are illegal aliens. Kicking them out would solve the prison overcrowding issue. They just come here to work, my a**

Yeah. Duncan Hunter seems alright, lot of solid ideas. I've heard Tancredo on a few of the evening news programs and like him alot.

Living in Ohio and living in Texas are worlds apart when it comes to the problems with illegals. Most of the ones here are working at egg farms, meat packing plants and the fields during the season. They're not building gangs where I live yet... Yet.

Welfare? Yeah that's a big problem too, I hear you.

I like Tancredo a lot. He is one of the only ones who I feel actually sees the true evil in our government. I'm not saying that all are evil, but I firmly believe some are.
