Some people can break a cannon ball, in a sand box, with their bare hands.

Hydraulic roller lifters

I thought pushrod angularity was too great in a BBF to consider using hydraulic rollers. If it's not a problem, then that's fine. If it is, then how is Roush getting around the problem?

a hydraulic roller 385 series is fine as long as the rpms are kept down (under 6k) and everything is clearanced for the pushrods (holes in heads and guideplates)
i want to someday set up an a-headed 572 with a hydraulic roller, but thats a long ways off

just another dual quad 545 :-)

OK, point taken. I thought it was more detrimental than that, didn't realize it would work (with some modification) at lower RPM's. Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks, I try to learn one thing every day. It's just sad that most of it has no practical value.

Thanks

Joe
