Tell me that sucker is now hanging in your garage...
if he does the damage the least he can do is provide a meal or two.

Yeah I did the same to my 96 Mustang GT about 4 years ago. WAs 12 point over 200 lbs. I was running about 60 down the highway and I saw it coming but there was a car to my left so nothing else to do but brace myself. The bad thing was they were not able to save any of the meat because of how bad the impact was and it cost about 2500 to fix the front of my car. Just be thankful she did not get hurt. As they say deer are the biggest killers among animals in the US. More than bear, mountain lions and whatever else you can think of.

1993 Mustang LX 466 CI with Kaase CJ heads. Just hoping to make a full pass. Best time 6.32 110 mph.

I hit one dead in the *** at 70mph a couple months back with my work F650 (thank god). Nice big buck with at least 8 points. Was late and I was in a hurry to get home, so stopped by the next day to get a better look at him and someone had already de-capitated it. lol .

Too bad about the damage to your truck!

It just bent my bumper back on one side almost to the tire. Was able to pull it out with a chain come-along pretty easily.

I had to dodge a lil 6-pointer this evening with the exploder. But I was driving slow and ready, cause they are thick around here. Was telling my wife "they need reflectors stuck to them so we can see them better"... Would make it easier to spot them when hunting too! lol.

No stoppin'

There was no stopping, cruising down Rt. 60 in the rain and traffic. I was riding shotgun, and never saw it till I saw the horns in front of the hood right after impact. He was flying low and moving fast. Barely scratched the hood. Probably being chased by dogs. They hunt with dogs and shotguns around here. I haven't really gotten used to that because I grew up rifle hunting, and dogs were not allowed to chase deer.

I have comprehensive coverage on the old truck for glass breakage and deer damage, so I'll see what they say tomorrow at the insurance office.

I just told Ellen to watch the temp gauge and keep on gettin' up. When we got home we had a flat tire too.

Well.....

Your F250 has just been moved to the front burner.  I'm waiting to see what kind of money I get from the insurance company. Then I'll probably take the C6 from the F250 to Fordtek1 for a look-see before I stick my 460 in front of it. 8)

This is why I told Ellen you can never have too many trucks. (or cars)
