Ford drops Bigfoot 4x4 Inc.

Well, after a 23 year sponsership deal. Ford drops Bigfoot. I guess the Ford guys feel that monster trucks do not sell Super Dutys.

Yes, themonsterblog.com

My best buddy drives Bigfoot 11. They are trying for GM money now, it's still in the works. Will seem very strange a Bigfoot truck with a GM body and powerplant.

That would be a million times worse than Dale JR going to Ford. IMO

What was the real reason behind Big Foot not being shown on Tv anymore? The last I was told was due to the Bigfoot team not liking how the televised events had fixed results and everyone complainig about BF having more money and better technology.

I really doubt that, if anything they are behind in tehnoligy. You cannot exempt yourself from competition and expect to remain or perform above the compeitors..Just doesn't happen that away.

Fixed results, wrecking to make the fans happy, and so on.
Bigfoot's trucks are top of the line stuff, 14 year old chassis look new, motors are always fresh.
This is alot like if Castrol dropping Force racing!!!

My guess... it's all about exposure! Lack of TV air time etc. Sad, reguardless.

I don't know about fixed results, but "crashing to win" is pretty much part of the whole crowd pleasing. I compare it to professional wrestling.

Besides if Roush/Force is't a part of the equasion theres a fat chance that Ford is going to be interested enough to throw sponsorship money at it

If I am not mistaken I think the same owners of the WWF owned the whole get-up with the televised Monster-Truck races. It appears that here recently with in the last 2-5 years it's under different management.

I remember watching Bigfoot on TNN and then it was sold. That was back during the days of Speedvision, when you could watch all forms of motorsports and not just stupied Nascar. I have really grown to dislike Nascar.

Bring back the WRC, swamp buggy racing, mud bog racing and truck pulling.

i think the monster jam crap is a joke
yea it is fun to watch them crash but honestly i just miss the good old days
like BEARFOOT-USA1-BIGFOOT and so on
back when the bodys were real truck bodys not a stupid bat mobile
nija turtal furtureistic suv
they can throw that crap in the trash
i miis it when they had hill climbing contsests-pulling-and floating on the water-sliging mud
but it is all drama bull carp now
i know a kid when i was younger that raced quads
a few yrs back when it was north vs south
he quit cause he wanted to race for real
he was telling me that it was all fixed and the monster trucks were to

i think it is time we all band together and request a red neck tv chanel
with good old mud sliging and tuff trucks
truck pulling not just blown alchol stuff but real trucks
real tv for the real MAN 8)
wow i think i just had a moument

yeah it is very sad though big foot does still race at the special events format. i have a freind that went to work at big foot too. a few years back . he said the stuff on speed was just like wrestleing too you know who wins ahead of time. theres a video of i think its called 30 years of bigfoot maybe ill have to dig it out where the first truck all the way through the new stuff was on it very cool.
anybody work for tv or a advertiseing company cause somebody needs to put on a real moster truck show and theres a huge need for mud raceing on tv. though im probably biased on that. same with pullin boat raceing and i love watching heads up drags .
