Mufflers at Bremerton, Washington this year

Quote:
Due to the logging on Port property and on both sides of Old Clifton Rd., just outside of the entrance gate, we will be forced to require mufflers or some sort of an attenuating sound device. Take a look at the latest logging picture on the photo page. These pictures are as of February 23, 2008 and this is just the start of all of the logging

I found this on Bremerton's web site for those that race there. I know before they had a rule, but they never enforce it that much. When ever I went there they just asked if I had anything in, I have the Vortec cones and that was enough to satisfy them, they never did look to see if they were in or not.
I don't remember what their rules said before, I think it was something like 95 decibals at 90* at 50 feet or something like that. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that will be running there this summer. I'm sure they would let it slide the first time and tell you the next time to have something in.

BUt what is something.

They have to set some sort of class/decible level at a distance and enforce it.
