I dare you!!!

I was recently complaining about doing the last 2 months of body work on my mustang. My buddy and I were talking and jokingly I mentioned that I would just clear it the way it sits and take the sheetmetal wing off. He said he double dog dared me. So what do you all think about this wild idea? It's a mixture of red, bare metal, and filler right now. but it's straight as an arrow now. It would be one heck of a sleeper!!!

True. I was thinking about semi gloss black with flat black or pearl flames.

I think you should clear coat it as is. Do it on a windy day with lots of bugs flying around. If you want to get fancy, put a little aluminum foil in the mix too. Then have some flames, pink ones, coming from the back of the car... like your car is just burning up in speed when you're in reverse.

If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers.

Re: I dare you!!!

If you put all that work into making it straight then finish it with a "smooth as glass paint job" IMO.
