Freight service?

Whats the best way to get a pallet fom Virgina to Texas? I see UPS has a freight service, but I have never shipped something like this, so I don't know which one is the best.

Heres a web site for freight quotes. When all is said and done I don't know if it really matters who you choose they all can have problems.

$200 for 250 pounds on a pallet sound about right?

If you don't mind going to a depot to drop it off and pick it up... I have had good luck with Forward Air in the past.

I shipped a block from WA state to CA which was about 1100 miles. The crate weighed 300lbs. I sent it Fedex LTL Freight and it cost me $205. I saved a lot of money by dropping it off at their terminal rather than having them pick it up at my place.
