Engine mounts for XA Falcon

just wondering about the engine mounts i have.

i have the mounts that bolt to the crossmember/chassis which are made from steel, but where do i find the mounts that bolt to the block with rubber insert?

CLICK HERE http://www.rodshop.com.au/catalogues/EngineMounts.pdf and look for EM26 and you will see the steel mounts i already have, just need to find the Ford rubbers as they call them

Anyone have an idea on cost?

Hi,
You need to find a place that sells F100,F250,Bronco parts and they would have the engine mounts you need.

When I had a big block in an XD, my kit used 67-71 Mustang big block mounts. Apparently, 385 series and FE motor mounts are the same. Any Mustang restoration house can supply them. I think this is what you are looking for:

which mounts are you talking about that wont fit xa on greg??? the castlemaine ones or the mustang ones (from the ebay page)??

i didnt get my chassis mounts from castlemaine, got them off ebay and they a touch different to look at than the castlemaine ones so not sure where mine were manufactured but look to bolt up ok (havent had a chance to check yet)

what are you thinking is so different from XA onwards compared to other models?

is castle auto owned by the rod shop??? if so i wont be buying from them considering what i went thru with the bellhousing ordeal!

Ok sounds like you're ok. Just the castlmaine ones pictured are for Early and they are different is what i was refering to.The XY types chassis plates are lower than XA on and differ where they bolt up. If yours fit the car where they bolt down all good..

The ebay ones wont fit the chassis plates we have here either ..

The part numbers for the ones you want here are Pioneer brand
Left side = 602368
Right side =602367

Castle auto is NOT castlemaine rod shop . Castle auto electric in my experience a few times have given me awesome service..

Those Ebay ones are different to numbers i listed. The ebays need another adaptor on the top side to the block. I think they then fit to the clevo type chassis plates..

Since you have the mounts specific for BB to XA-on you need the numbers i posted .
