Anybody use Edelbrock's Part #6593 air/fuel ratio monitor?

I'm looking for a monitor that I can move from vehicle to vehicle relatively easy. Also need one that is reasonably accurate. Wondering which meter the forum members are using? If there is a problem using this meter please recommend a better one I should look at? Want to get something that is user friendly. Also would like to be able to use the meter on a few vehicles that use rocket brand 114 octane fuel. Thanks for your time.

They only show their new LM-2 but it's not available yet. If you can wait a month or so then you will be fine. If you need something right now call around and ask for the LM-1. The difference is that the LM-1 reads obd-II codes and displays more then one parameter at a time. There is nothing wrong with the LM-1 and it will be cheaper.

If the e-brock one is a single wire (narrow band) sensor, it doesn't really do much good for performance tuning. You need a wideband for that. The AEM one is simple and works well. You shouldn't use it with leaded fuel though as that fouls up the sensor quickly and that's expensive to replace.

If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers.

Send a message via AIM to psquare75
I'll second the AEM indash wideband. I have one in my Cougar, helped quite a bit.

don't be afraid of the Zeitronix one.
I've had the AEM (which worked great), the EFI systems UEGO 1000, the FAST dual bank, innovate, and now the Zeitronix.

Of all of them I liked the AEM and Zeitronix the best.
