The 5.060" length on that intake valve has me concerned. Maybe it's a typo.

Even the spec at TFS's site says it's 5.060. I wonder if it is a typo. That's a BBF exhaust valve length. Or maybe somebody at TFS screwed up and had a bunch of intake valves made with an exhaust valve length. ops:

just need a .200" thick lash cap and some small block chevy valve spings and your good to go- where i don't know

That was my point Steve. Buyer beware. 5.060" is the BB Ford exhaust valve length. If it really is a 5.060" long intake valve, then it won't fit any of the Ford heads, not even the 1973 and up cast iron stuff with the shorter valves.

The only head I know of, that uses a 2.250" x 5.060" long intake valve is the 455 Buick T/A Performance aftermarket heads and they would need to have the 11/32" guides instead of the factory diameter of 3/8".
