$4.00 Gas in Cuba MO.

Today at lunch time I had to make a run to the parts store to pick up an oil filter LF426 for a 420 Windsor. I noticed that two gas stations were VERY busy as I went through town and their price was $3.71 for regular. Then I looked and every other place was $3.99 for the cheap stuff, just in time for the 4th of July holiday!

I know prices have been higher in Chicago, San Francisco and other places but going up almost $.30 over night is a LOT!

Ours came down to 3.95/gal but went up to 4.05 just before the weekend, now its 4.15 just in time for the 4th. Its all " supply and demand"?? What a crock, goes up for the busiest times of the year.

On my way home from work a little while ago I looked and it doesn't seem as though diesel has changed in price. It's running about $4.60 a gallon.

i guees we are luck here in mn
3.99-4.00 gallon
but honestly how much of this are we gonna take?
me and the wife are currenly layed of work cause of this
we both go back in a week but i am down to 40hrs a week witch i am thankful for but when your used to 50+hrs a week 40 is a hit to the pocket book
and the wife was working about the same hrs
when she gose back she is at mandatory 32hrs a week
this is just getting out of hand
and what do we all do NOTHING!!!!!
just bitch about it and pay
there is a hand full of protesters here and there but not nearly enof to make any differnce
i will admit i wont protest or stop driving
but it would be nice to do something
but as long as we keep on paying there prices and taking it up the rear they are gonna keep giveing to us
and you can bet your azz the oil companys are still profiting a **** load

Bout all you can do is cut out the extra trips, used to zip into town everytime I needed something, not anymore! We'll just have to ride it out, as it will go down eventually. Been using E-85 for about 6 months now, really like it, and at $2.80 a gal, why not!
