wait, NZ dollars are worth more than U.S. dollars now? Everyone talks "expensive gas" this, "expensive food" that. How about some talk about our slipping dollar?

If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers.

And here in New Zealand our gallon is 4.54 litres , you guys have gallons that are 3.89 litres (just to make things tricky)

Downside is now our oil-packs use to hold a gallon (4.54 litres) then we went to metric and the comtainers only held 4 litres and now they dropped them to 3.89 litres (A US gallon) BUT the rub is the oil prices didn't drop along with the size of the containers!!!!

Yup, our New Zealand dollar is up and down like a hookers panties.
In '01 it was 40 cents US for each NZ dollar value when I was there and got married.

In '05 it was 79 cents US for each NZ dollar - so I bought a '66 Thunderbird and brought it home!!! 8)

Saved thousands of dollars compared to the '01 prices.
