My new shifter just arrived

I have been waiting on this thing since May. Now I can put the new Frank Merkl transbrake in the old mud truck.
The shifter is a Kwik shift II by Precision Performance Products. A very nice product and worth the wait.
Hope to have it all working by next sundays mud race.

We run one in the 65 car. Thats all we have ever had and I love it. Good thing is that you can just buy the side gates if you decide you want to change from a 2 to a 3 speed or vice versa. 8)

I just looked at the website for that shifter. I would like to have one of those but it would be like puttin a church pew in the middle of the Ghetto if I put one of those in my car.

1990 GT, 347 / 76mm turbo setup OUT AND GONE!

New setup going in. Dove headed 545 with a plate kit to 400, progressive, Th400 etc. etc. etc.

My brother has one in his 68 Mustang, I have raced it a few times and that shifter works great. I have a stuped Pro rachet shifter it's good to loose a race. It never shifts correctly.

Time to call and order.
