Finally Got it Running

Fired the beast up yesterday (mucho stress). I feel like I am getting too old for this sh%$. My back hurts from laying on the concrete for the last two weeks evenings and weekends! Here is my combo:
545 Scat kit with JE flat tops and 4.5 stroke and 6.7 rods
D9 block hard filled to bottom of water pump holes
ported cast iron D0OE-R heads with Ferrea valves (as per Scott J's site)
Hooker super comps
Custom solid flat tappet from Scott (.640I .639E 265 278 @.050)
Weiand tunnel ram (port matched) with two Holley 1850's-I know they are too small but they will have to do for this year
scorpion 1:73 roller rockers comp 930-16 springs
powerglide with 1.76 gear and TSR brake
4800 convertor
4:56 rear gears
car is back halved 78 Futura with a full cage 14X32 Goodyears

Changed the oil tonight-I ran rotella oil, GM EOS and a set of old single springs I had to break in the cam.-ran it for 20 minutes at 2000 to 3000 rpm. Everything looks good. New springs will go in tomorrow night.

Any guesses on what it will run in the quarter?

I recommend going to the chassis dyno to get a baseline on peak power rpms etc.
This will tell you alot of things, and will save you alot of testing at the track.
Im thinking you have too much gear, and 4.10's would be closer, but we are not sure of the weight or the power?

STOCK SUSPENSION N/A
515 CI in the works!!!
