1st runs on the car

hey guys got to run the mustang today for the first time . i didnt get to go my partner ran it i had to combind beans. he just drop the car and trailer off and gave me a couple time slips. best run was 6.24 at 106mph with a big flutter at about 100 ft or so then it would come back and pull again . our pump was bad so we thru in a holley blue last night id guess it was loosen fuel presure for a bit maybe. anyway wish i could have went and ran it but maybe next year lol.

Do you have extensions on the secondary jets?

The older I get, the smarter Dad was.

yep it has jet extentions its a 1050 on a 557 with home ported dove heads we put a little bigger cam in before we put the motor in , it made 700 horse on the dyno before the new cam . i think a holley blue might not have enough volume for it was my guess . maybe try it and take another carb with us to try if we get to run again this year. brad
