s_stang, I'm glad I finally decided to view your post, it was a great walk down memory lane! I've seen several of those cars compete in their days at various race tracks around the country. It too amazes me, the front wheel designs on a few of the cars! Like "bell bottoms", they come and go only to return later in life!

away, ask yourself, what is one of the ingredients that make a drag race car "wheel stand"? ....... TRACTION ....... Those cars had very little of that!
