Under $2 Gas Over the Weekend!

This past weekend I made a trip to see my girlfriend who lives in Lawrence KS. On the drive I saw gas for $1.97 on the way there and $1.89 on the way home at a station on I-70 in Higginsville MO. I wonder how low it can go?

It's $2.09 here in Cuba MO and I've heard $1.99 in Rolla as of today Monday Nov 3.

Hey!

Since I started riding my motorcycle, I only use 1.25 gallons a week instead of 25 gal in my Explorer. Prices going down only save me $1.50 or so from the highs...

The guys driving the gas guzzlers are saving $100 a week...

Not fair!

oh ya I have one of those 7.3 Diesel and even at 17.5 MPG it still sucks a tank in 380 miles. and when I hook to the trailer then it's a straight 9 MPG. so start looking to fill up every 180 miles or so .

But prices going down is a good thing.. Now we really have to look hard at the Oil Companies that have been putting the boots to use for the last 3 years after hurricane Katrina.

Dan

P.S. lets see what happens to the prices after Tuesday election.

Bought it for 1.99 on my way home Sat night in OKC.

If I used cash it would have been 1.95.

$1.93 here, plus we have a local grocery store that does "Fuel Perks" at $.10 per gallon off per $50 spent...so on Saturday I had saved up $.50 per gallon savings and filled up for $1.43/gallon. It was glorious.
