460 in a...

does any one have a 460 in a 1968-69 torino? i am sure it is possible but don't know where to look for mounts. my 390 max's out the width the header bolts about touch the shock towers. is a 460 any wider? any help would be appreciated.

you can install it with a crities header and mount kit. The engine bay in your car is the same in the 69-70 mustang. The 460 is narrower than the 390 but about 1.5 inches higher, i hope this helps and if you need anymore help you can pm me and i will try to help. JAY 8)
