Push rod Length checker question

Hey guys haven't been on here in a while. Project got put on hold a lot. I'm in the process of modding my Ram and want to buy a push rod length checker. The one I'm loking at ranges from 6.125 in. to 7.500. Would that work on my 460 when I get around to building it? I have no idea what size 460 push rods usually are.

Most stock 460 pushrods can be checked with one in the 8.5" range.

Comp Cams makes one that will be in the range you need.

Less than $20

I really like the checkers from Comp Cams. You don't need a large caliper or figure the oil hole into the equation. You just start with it fully screwed together. EX: 7.800" for the one I listed. Each full turn that you lengthen it is .050"

Thanks for the reply. I ended up not buying the set I was looking at. Hoping to borrow one off a member from another forum if I need it. If what you say is the case It wouldn't have worked for the stang anyway so I would have been **** outta luck on it. Oh well more things I will need 20 years from now when I finally get aound to building my BB
