Amish heaters

anybody have any experience with these heaters. Trying to save a little on the gas bill this winter.
Thought about one in the main room of the shop

BS ad, nothing but an electric heater. will save on gas bill but will have a stroke on electric bill

X2,Got a buddy that bit on one ops: Pretty much a sales GIMMICK imo :roll: I don't know how big of a shop that your trying to heat But,I bought one of those little propane 2 Plaque standup ventless heaters for my 30' deer camp trailer. It heats the trailer on low setting and also has a fan on it. Reg. price is 139.95 but right now their on sale from $99/119. I will vouch for them. Their great Rick

UL approval just means it won't likely short out and burn down your building. I know one of the shops around here burns the used motor oil they get from doing oil changes. I don't know how environmentally sound that is, but it's free! It's something very similar (or maybe even the same) as this...

They are your basic 1500 watt space heater in a really pretty package and price. You can go to wally world and pick up one to do the same thing for 30-50 bucks.
