Snowed in in the pacific northwest ??? HUH????

I have been here for 17 years and I have never not been able to get to work.

Amost a foot of snow which is no big thing where I come from in indiana but here there is little to no road prep or snow removal...

No one knows how to drive in it either. It is maddening... :evil: :!:

Talk about not knowing how to drive in the snow. You should see the future Darwin Award winners in TX when it snows. It is simpy crazy. They either drive 20 or a 100. Nothing inbetween.

You can't polish a turd!

our normal snow fall is around 6-12 inches at a time..not bad, but we get a crap load of ice..we got hammered last year at the time..we had a small ice storm last week..kids was out of school for 3 days..most Oklahoman's do a pretty good job at driving on the ice , there is always the retard that want to go fast cause they have 4x4's..which mean nothing on ice

It very rarely snows in the puget sound lowlands. Usual winter temps are highs in the 40's and lows in the high 30's to low 40's...

We got around 14" over the weekend. 2 of my neighbors were waiting for me to leave for work this morning so they could follow me out of the subdivision. Did I mention we have not been road plowed since sat morning??

Josh, you didn't get any back on December 11th? I had a good 2" of it in my front yard. That was the most snow I've seen in South Louisiana in my entire life. It was awesome though!!!

I was stationed at Ft. Lewis in 1961, we got about 10 inches once, it was gone the next morning, and 45 degrees, and raining again, if all the rain was snow, they would never get dug out.

let it happen.

We got about a foot here, spent the weekend hooning about in SWMBOs Imprezza teaching her how to drive
in the fluffy stuff... Great fun, but I can't my car out of the driveway...
