Started Mocking Up The Hemi* UPDATE 1/31/09*

Well the block is back & the crank fits. So we got the crank in the block along with the Danny Bee & the ATI dampner. Man the 5" crank fills up the block!!! Got the pan on it & tried to mount the dry sump pump. I had to modify the mounting bracket & I need some longer socket headed capscrews along with a couple of spacers. I should have that mounted by the weekend. Here is what we got so far.

Yes Rick it is. I told you there was one there under all that crap...  Also need to give some credit to Mr. Rick Kelso. He helped me pick up & install that heavy a$$ crank. Shipping weight on the box said 101 lbs. I bet the block don't have but about 50 lbs. on the crank.

I used to think I didn't mind being poor and not being able to afford nice toys, but I realize now I've just been kidding myself...
Very nice - keep the pics coming!

I'm not rich. It has taken me a little over 4 yrs to get to this point. Like Johnny Cash said " One piece at a time".

Killer set-up...I'm jealous. That unit would be enough to out-run my chassis. Anyway...the sides of that block look like they would bolt up to stock stuff...is that the case?
