Gasket preference question

Pulling the intake on my SCJ with as cast ports. What intake gaskets and end gasket maker do you prefer & why?

67 Mustang F/B, 565, SCJ, 808hp

I have felpro gaskets on mine and they seam to be good, Id throw away the end gaskets and use silicone so it want leak

I use the Mr. Gasket Ultra Seal gaskets and Permatex Ultra Black for the end gaskets. I've had better luck with the Mr. Gasket stuff than any other I've tried.

I too have had some trouble with the Fel Pro CJ style gaskets just because they are the "high performance" variety. These are made from softer material that over time gets mushy around by the water port and fails. They seem to seal just fine over the short term however.

Gluing the gasket to the head using yellow glue seems to help a lot with durability.
