Bad Knees

Left knee worn so bad it pains me and needs replacing, this will mean clutch usage problems. Never had a automatic, prefer a OD so I can play at Friday night test and tune, then drive 40 miles home. I don't class race, won't meet requirements.

Who do you recommend, and how tight can I go on the converter? I don't want to make a expesive mistake. 800hp, 10.5 tires, hooks poorly with a Mcleod street twin disc. Thanks in advance.

Do you have or have you tried a hydraulic throwout? You can play around with mc bore sizes and pedal travel.

Have one in car now and have done just as you suggest. Problem is when I get it soft enough to not hurt, I have waaay too much pedal.
