Overall Good Weekend

We entered the Kansas City Doorslamer race - basically a heads up Quick 8 race - first year of the new format - single stage allowed, OEM type Automatic transmission - qualified number 1 with a 4.56 at 155+ - car was great all weekend - driver not bad either, until the final - late, late, late!!! Couldn't get around him and he took the stripe by .0014.

Hopefully they'll put another one together for next year and we'll give it another shot.

Sure...

Tube Chassis 02 Mustang -
598" with Thor Heads/Intake and single APD 1250 Carb - Currently single stage Speedtech Fogger - Powerglide transmission with a 10.5" Abruzzi Converter.

We are 90 lbs over the minimum weight for BB/nitrous combo in TS - 2540 - adding beadlocs and the Thor Heads and intake also added a bunch of weight, but the numbers are well worth it.

Anywhere in the 1.06 - 1.08 range.

There are a couple of videos on youtube - if you search midwest top sportsman, or our website is www.tbddragracing.com There are three or four vids on there from Joliet last year - was with the old motorsport A Head combo and TFS intake -

Thanks Kevin - more than happy with the pieces that we bought from you! The intake is getting sent to Speedtech this week to get a second stage of nitrous plumbed and flowed. I can't wait to hit that - looking for a 6 second pass in the second half of the season.

They were Motorsport A Heads and they picked up over 100 peak hp and around 175 finish line hp. They also seem to like nitrous a lot more. The intake is the Thor unit that matches the heads.
